RGF Records: The future
"My record label, Road Goes On Forever, has come to the point where it is no longer possible to proceed in the manner of the last 25ish years, and apart from two items, the repertoire is now in the hands of Cherry Red Records.
The 5 x CD boxed set of The Amazing ZigZag Concert and The North Stars book are still available via this website."

The Amazing Zigzag Concert: available now
Here's an email we've received from a happy buyer of The Amazing Zigzag Concert:
'Many thanks for the concert CDs which arrived on Saturday morning (how did you get them here so quickly?). This meant that I could spend large parts of the weekend luxuriating in hours of beautiful music. What first struck me was how well recorded the concert was and how 'clean' it all sounds today.
Rather perversely, I listened to the CDs out of order, starting with two old favourite groups of mine: Help Yourself and Starry Eyed and Laughing. I think the Help Yourself set is magnificent; and I confess that the opening bars of Starry Eyed's Chimes of Freedom brought a tear to my eye. The Mike Nesmith set is superb. I've never really been a follower of his work and this came as a complete surprise - a very moving collection of songs.
So far, then, a wonderful experience - there is just so much humanity in these performances. Thank you for making it possible. With all my best wishes, Chris.'
LIMITED EDITION - 2000 copies only!
A set of 5 CDs, recorded live at Zigzag magazine’s fifth anniversary concert, held at The Roundhouse on Sunday afternoon and evening, 28 April 1974, complete with a 32 page booklet celebrating the occasion.

John Tobler reflects: interviewing Bob Marley and a life in music journalism
"In 1977, the only people at Radio One who weren't nervous about involvement with punk/New Wave were John Peel and myself."
RGF boss John Tobler was interviewed recently by Roger Crow for The Huffington Post, discussing his interviews with the late, great BOB MARLEY in the late 1970s. He's also interviewed by Ian Ravendale in Vinyl Guru, in which he looks back at his life as a music writer.
John's previously-unheard interviews with Bob Marley have been compiled onto CD, and are available now. Read more >>>
